A Tour of our Dawson Hill Project in East Dulwich
Jessica Horton, Founder of Deorling, is proud to introduce the recently completed full interior design project at Dawson Hill. This project showcases a harmonious blend of contemporary style and functional elegance, tailored to meet the unique needs of the space. Every detail was carefully considered to create an inviting and cohesive environment that reflects both sophistication and comfort. The result is a refined interior that enhances the living experience while maintaining a timeless aesthetic.

“Jessica has a brilliant eye for colour and we couldn’t be happy with the scheme that she came up with for our house; it felt immediately homely, she suggested ideas outside our comfort zone that we wouldn’t have thought to go for ourselves – our red doors and stairs get much admired! She specialises in period homes and restored elements of the original design, such as uncovering lowered ceilings. reinstating a fireplace and installing panelling.
She has brilliant contacts throughout the industry and introduced us to some fab suppliers; from vintage rugs to bespoke ottomans and Murano glass lighting that really make our home feel unique to us, without blowing the budget.
Another star of the show is the shaker-style cabinetry that Jessica designed for four of our rooms – wardrobes, bookcases, alcove cabinets and also a door – the finish and workmanship really elevates the spaces and has made something very practical feel really special.”

“well worth the money, even as a creative I deal with colour in clothing and fabrics but walls and interiors are a very different skill set. Jess considers the way the light falls at certain times of day, the way the two colours reflect off each other and recommends tried and tested base tones…. ”
